Web hosting service provider

WP Engine

This website uses WP Engine, a web hosting service. It is operated by WP Engine, 504 Lavaca Street, Suite 1000, Austin, TX 78701.

Website data such as web form submission data, including contact information, is collected and stored in our website files, which are hosted on WP Engine shared hosting servers. Data you submit on a form is encrypted and transmitted to WP Engine data centers within countries in the European Union as specified here: https://wpengine.com/support/servers/

This website will process any data you enter onto forms with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.

Objecting to the collection of data

You may revoke your consent at any time and request that Flywheel correct or delete your data from WP Engine by contacting [email protected]. You may also choose to request that WP Engine change, update, or delete your information by writing to WPEngine, Inc.

We will retain the data you provide on forms in website files on WP Engine Servers until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or 30 days have passed.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores the information your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

Getsitecontrol acts as a data processor that passes data to Flywheel’s marketing automation platform, Pardot. Getsitecontrol also uses internet tags and cookies that allow for analysis of the use of the website by you, including IP address and browser type. If you provide data via a form (e.g. your name and email address) to sign up for a mailing list, your data will be sent to Pardot. We will process any data you enter into a popup form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Getsitecontrol stores visitor data and may use it to determine the fastest way to connect their services to your location and report aggregated data.

Email and Newsletter

Data and processing

If you would like to receive Flywheel’s email communications and newsletters, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or that which is collected is done so on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not share it with third parties.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area) remain unaffected.

Pardot

This website uses the services of Pardot to send emails and newsletters. This service is provided by Salesforce.com, 415 Mission St., 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA.

Pardot is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of emails. If you provide data (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our email communications, including newsletter, it will be stored on Pardot and Salesforce servers in the USA.

We use Pardot to analyze our newsletter and email campaigns. When you open an email sent by Pardot, a single-pixel image included in the email loads and connects to Pardot’s servers in the United States. This allows us to determine if an email message has been opened. When you click on a link, a cookie is placed on your browser, which allows us to determine which links you click on.

If you do not want your usage of emails and the newsletter to be analyzed by Pardot, you can unsubscribe using the link in every email we send.

MailChimp

This website uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. This service is provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. If you provide data (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter, it will be stored on MailChimp servers in the USA.

We use MailChimp to analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a file included in the email (called a web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the United States. This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links you click on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to a specific recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to your interests.

If you do not want your usage of the newsletter to be analyzed by MailChimp, you will have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter we send.

Customer Relationship Management

Flywheel uses the services of Salesforce.com to organize its list of contacts.  Contact information is regularly synchronized to Salesforce from Pardot and MailChimp. Pardot serves as Flywheel’s authoritative source of truth for this information. If you opt-out of a newsletter list, unsubscribe, or otherwise request data removal, that request will be fulfilled using Pardot’s tools and then synchronized into Flywheel’s Salesforce account.

Zapier

Flywheel uses the services of Zapier to send contact information provided in Information Request forms on LinkedIn.com to Salesforce.com. Zapier, Inc. is headquartered at 548 Market St. #62411, San Francisco, CA 94104-5401.

Zapier is a service which translates data between LinkedIn and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (a Salesforce.com product) APIs. If you provide Flywheel your contact information on LinkedIn via a form (e.g. email address, name, company, and title) this information will be stored on Zapier’s encrypted AWS cloud servers. Data transfers are stored in Zapier for 30 days, after which they are permanently deleted. If you would like your data to be removed from Zapier, please contact [email protected] with this data removal request.
